I got to re-discover who I am only in my late 30s. Until then I went through life doing something I thought I "should" do and what my family/society expected of me.
Then I remembered all the things I was really good at when I was young. And I gave space, time and effort to activities that fascinated me but which were always pushed aside because of other things I had to do. It took real inner strength to work over the comments from the past (and present!) that said "you'll never make any money doing this", "it's not practical", "you are not good enough", "you are too old for this", etc, etc, etc. The conditioning that we receive when we are young can be strong. And it can -- and it will, if you let it -- prevent you from living your own unique music.
Re-discovery coaching is about finding your way back to who you always were and who you were meant to be. Hence is the RE-DISCOVERY part. You just forgot it or dismissed it or ignored it because life got in the way.
