The FounderMargarita Gokun Silver, MPH, CPCC, PNLP I first learned about coaching in beautiful Buenos Aires, Argentina from a friend who turned out to be the very first Co-Active life coach I have ever met. After the initial confusion over the term I realized that I had been "coaching" for years supporting, listening and encouraging friends, colleagues, and extended family members. I also realized that there is nothing I like more than helping people reach their highest potential and live the lives they have always wanted. Today I work with my clients to help them move ahead, do and be their best, and embrace change. There is a personal reason behind wanting to help people achieve their dreams. I was born and grew up in the Soviet Union and when my family was given an opportunity to escape to the United States in search of a better life, we took it. We arrived poor and humble yet hopeful. Now, years later, we are living the lives of our dreams, the lives that would have never been possible had we stayed behind and ignored this chance for change. I have founded the Global Coach Center to help others seize their chances for change and move towards a better life. I hold a Master of Public Health degree from Yale University and I coach in English, Russian, and Spanish. I have been trained by one of the most prestigious coaching schools in the United States - The Coaches Training Institute - and I hold a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) Certification. I am also an NLP Practitioner. In addition to being a coach, I am also a writer and a mother. I was one of the contributors to the Illuminations: Expressions of the Personal Spiritual Experience along with such writers as Desmond Tutu, Marianne Williamson, Julia Cameron, and others.
I currently live in Miami but I have also lived in Buenos Aires, Moscow and St Petersburg, New Haven, New York, Rome, Tashkent, Vienna, Warsaw, and Washington, D.C.
